Male is taken captive and is a subject to many alchemical experiments/torture and was almost made into an animal familiar but the process was failing.

Not sure of the rest but he somehow survived due to the Vampire-Mage's Rivals and was given a new life.

Magical scaring however may never heal

The tighter the clothing the faster it happens synthetics take a little longer then natural fibers.

Transmuted underclothing hampers transmutations of above layers.

Her sweat is alchemically charged.

From the description, the 'weirdness magnet' may have been a pre-existing condition.

At least she got a nice physical package out of the event.
