I was hired with minimal experience for a junior maintenance position. The original Chief Engineer Charles hired me knew this, he wanted to be the one to train me himself, but he quit about a month or so into my employment. Next up was Jeff, he taught me a lot (He didn't have to) that helped me through, until he was fired. The new guy Ron kept me around until after my first anniversary with the company. But, apparently I did have enough experience for him so he let me go.
On the bright side they said that they would not contest unemployment.
But jobs are hard to come by in Tyler, unless you know someone. I am glad for one thing I'm always paranoid and have some savings squirreled away.
